I have been working in graphic design for over five years now and completed my graphic design degree program in May of 2023, graduating Magna cum Laude from the Academy of Art University. Working alongside my schooling taught me a lot about time management and creating new systems for prioritizing multiple projects at a time. More than anything, it taught me how to apply what I was learning in school to real-world graphic design work.
Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I love nature and believe strongly in the idea of sustainability and living eco-friendly. I strive to find ways this approach can be brought into big businesses. I am passionate about social justice and people/communities as a whole. I believe that through connection, we can make amazing things happen; both in our personal lives and in business ventures.
“A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.”

In 2020, I started working for Blank Label MFG; a startup company focused on rebranding the concept of white-label product supply. While there as the lead graphic designer, I helped create designs for a wide array of company brands, which we then applied to our in-house products for these companies to sell within their own brand name. I helped create new or adjusted logo designs, custom websites, and various packaging designs. During my time there, I honed my skills, working directly with clients to create design systems that represented them authentically, and that could be applied to an array of products.
In late 2021, I began working for an engineering company. Here I became a part of the graphic design team that creates designs for its offices all over the country, ranging from Hawaii to Washington D.C. My workload shifted at this company, allowing me to focus on other design skills like layout design, internal graphics/announcements, professional proposals, presentations, infographics, typography, and photography. My favorite types of design work are photography and photo editing, UX/UI design, logo design, and visual communication (especially when it involves illustration). Still, I pride myself on my varied skillset and my drive to continue branching out and taking on new or unusual projects.
